Scripting Manifestation: A Journaling Technique You Need to Know

If you’re a journal lover, you’re probably familiar with writing down goals, exploring your feelings, and expressing gratitude. The scripting manifestation method is an attraction technique that combines all three of these things common to journaling, in order to achieve your biggest goals and create your desired reality.

This article will tell you what scripting manifestation and scripting work is and how to use it in your journal to achieve your life dreams.

You can use this technique in any way you want, including in your daily journal or having a manifestation journal solely for scripting.

It’s incredibly helpful if you are a high achiever and have aspirational goals for yourself, but struggle to focus or pinpoint what you want, and can be used in addition to creating a vision board journal.

What Is Scripting Manifestation?

The scripting manifestation method is the act of writing down a goal with a plan. You also note your feelings and gratitude toward that goal, and it’s all in an active tense.

What I mean by that is it reads as though you already have what you want.

Many subcategories come under manifestation, including visualization, positive affirmations, and letters to your future self.

Scripting is an incredible option if you need to focus more on your life goals and struggle to work with images alone.

The Benefits Of Scripting Manifestation

Scripting manifestation relaxes the body and mind because you don’t have to constantly think about your next decision or work out what you need to do (which can be very tiring!). Instead, it gives you clear instructions to achieve your dreams.

Scripting also evokes happy emotions because you must incorporate positive feelings into your script for it to be effective. It can even reduce anxiety and depression because you have a clear goal of where you’re heading and uses the present tense. That means your mind is focusing on what you have now instead of worrying about the uncertainty of the future, and positive feelings stop you from dwelling on the past.

How To Nail Your Scripting Manifestation to Create Your Dream Life

There are some key things you need to remember if your scripting journey is going to work. It’s essential to incorporate these elements into your scripting for maximum effect in terms of the law of attraction and building your future life.

Use Present Tense

When you write about how you ‘want’ to do or ‘will’ achieve something, it’s sending the message that you don’t have it yet. You don’t, but that’s not the internal belief you want to transmit to your subconscious.

Focusing on what you don’t have brings you down and makes you feel you have so far to go. Instead, write as if you already have those amazing things in your life. You’ll feel far more motivation and confidence that the goal is in sight, and that’s because you start to believe it’s true, even before it happens.

Write How It Feels

The memories you most remember are those that have an emotional attachment. Bullying or unkind comments stick with you because they hurt your feelings. On the other side of the spectrum, having fun with your friends, Christmas, and significant life events are crisp in your mind because they evoke happiness.

It’s crucial to provide your scripted manifestation with beneficial emotions for this very reason. When you inject emotion into it, your brain and body respond to the happy feelings and want you to achieve whatever you’re scripting. Why? Because it already makes you feel good. These positive emotions are key to this manifesting method.

Be Clear & Precise

If you’re not precise about what you want, your brain will have difficulty understanding and focusing on your desire. What kind of career are you after, and how will you get there?

You are the ultimate teacher and must give concise instructions for the best results with this manifestation technique.

Ensure your scripting is accurate instead of vague, and remember, you can alter and personalize it as you get a clearer idea of what you want, and your manifestation journey develops.

Use Language That Attracts Your Dream Job, Life, or Other Goal

Saying things like, ‘I no longer,’ or ‘I don’t have,’ aren’t good wording choices because they attract things you lack. For example, if you write, ‘I don’t have any debt,’ your subconscious mind will focus on the keywords ‘don’t’ and ‘debt.’ It presumes you are deficient in something or don’t have what you need.

Instead, use positive associating words like, ‘I am debt free.’ When you say, ‘I am,’ you are ingraining the belief that you already have what you want, which is key to successful manifestation. The word ‘free,’ is a positive associative word. It invites you to take actions that achieve that goal and a mindset that you are already ‘debt-free.’

Express Gratitude

It’s critical to appreciate the achievements you write. You are connecting to why you are grateful, which releases happy hormones and, therefore, positive feelings about your goals. It also allows you to hone in on what makes you feel thankful so you can invite similar opportunities into your life.

Scripting Manifestation Examples

Here are five examples of scripting to get you started.

Script Manifestation For Self-Love

Self-love is essential in forming a committed and healthy relationship with yourself. Manifesting self-love teaches you to recognize the qualities you adore about yourself and how to reach a loving goal. So often, you’re taught to strive toward perfection rather than appreciating what you have or working actively toward your desires.

Scripting self-love is an amazing way to invite loving feelings rather than striving for the unrealistic goal of perfectionism.

E.g.

I love every part of myself. I am happy and calm because I have so many opportunities. I go to the gym three times a week and drink plenty of water because I love and respect my body. I feel confident when I tell myself, ‘I love you,’ in the mirror daily, and I write positively about myself. I am so grateful that I feel this way because it brings so much joy and happiness into my life.

What you will notice about these manifestation examples is they use the present tense, ‘I am,’ and read as though you already have the qualities you desire, ‘a happy, calm person.’ It says why you are so glad, ‘I have so many opportunities,’ and what you do to achieve self-love, saying ‘I love you.’ It then describes how those actions make you feel ‘confident.’

The script goes on to express how those actions have positively affected you and why you are grateful for the change, ‘it brings joy and happiness.’

Scripting Manifestation Examples For Financial Abundance in Your Own Life

Having financial freedom is an aspiration many people would love to achieve. As the saying goes, ‘I would rather be crying in my Mercedes than on a bus’ (or words to that effect).

Money will not create happiness if you are not happy with yourself. However, it does make things easier. It provides safety and security, helps you access the resources you need to feel better, opens opportunities, and offers unique experiences and memories.

Getting money can be tricky, so it’s critical to be clear about your intentions and open doors for it to enter your life.

E.g.

I am so happy now I am financially free. I earn $600,000 annually, and it’s a relief to know I can support myself, my family, and my friends. I am truly grateful because I can help others as well as myself. It feels empowering to save monthly, budget my spending, and go after high-paying opportunities.

Attraction Scripting For Your Career

Figuring out what you want is one of life’s biggest challenges. There are so many options to choose. What are you good at, what do you love, and what’s a realistic goal?

I’ll tell you now that any goal is realistic, but many people don’t have a defined and clear path on how to get there. Focusing on how you will achieve an outstanding career, a new job, or a promotion is a surefire way to keep your eye on the ball.

The Law of Attraction and scripting can be used at any stage of your life or career. As the manifestation example below shows, you can use it even as you’re preparing to undertake a new career.

E.g.

I adore my job as a graphic designer. I am finishing my degree in graphic design, taking night courses, and saving $30 a month to buy an Apple computer to make designing easier. I feel incredibly optimistic and excited about my future. I am genuinely grateful to myself for taking the leap and appreciative to the world for offering me endless opportunities.

Script Manifestation For Your Love Life

It’s normal to crave companionship in your life, but you must recognize what you want out of a relationship, and who your ideal partner might be, before you get there. Sometimes what you think you want and what you really need are two different things. That’s why gaining clarity on the type of relationship you seek is truly beneficial.

E.g.

I am head-over-heels for my partner. We have such a happy and healthy relationship. We discuss problems calmly and always have each other’s best interests at heart. I am cared for and loved, and I am always myself around them. I feel deep contentment, security, and happiness to share my life with someone who’s got my back. I am grateful that we are building a life together that brings such joy.

Script Manifestation For Beauty

I am super into beauty because I find it interesting, and looking good makes me feel good. However, I have had my fair share of feeling lost, overwhelmed, and frustrated with the cosmetics industry.

My biggest desire was great hair, but that’s incredibly vague. What does ‘great hair’ mean to me? Is it thick, long, shiny, or voluminous? I didn’t know. I always thought to myself, ‘I’ll know it when I see it.’ Finally, I sat down and wrote about my ideal hair. I’m giving you a taste in the example down below:

E.g.

My hair is so beautiful. It’s thick, and the length goes down to my chest. It’s soft to the touch, and the color is vibrant. Everyone comments on how lovely my hair looks. Since getting 60 grams of protein a day and eating hair-loving foods like avocados, it’s looking great. I feel confident because I can throw on a t-shirt and feel proud of my appearance. I’m so grateful for my hair because it shows I’m looking after myself and putting my needs first. It symbolizes recovery from mental illness, and I always appreciate how far I’ve come.

Script Manifestation Template

Here’s a basic template for beginners to start out on your scripting manifestation journey.

I am/I love/I adore [XYZ]. I do [what are you doing that helped achieve your goals?]. I feel [write down positive feelings]. I am grateful because [what is it bringing into your life?].

You can adjust the template to suit you, add, change, and adapt it over time. If your manifestation doesn’t feel right or is too vague, that’s okay. It sometimes takes a while to understand what you truly desire.

The only way to get that clarity is by starting somewhere and keep altering it until it reflects you and your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions For Scripting Manifestation

Does Scripting Manifestation Work?

Yes, but only if you’re consistent and keep practicing. You also must infuse emotion into your scripting because you need to be present to generate those feelings in your body.

Scripting manifestation isn’t about mindlessly reading information. It’s a powerful technique to connect to your desires to seek and invite opportunities into your life.

How Many Times Should I Script Manifest?

Consistent practice is key when it comes to law of attraction scripting.

Ideally, write it out between three to nine times in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Typically you write out your manifestation three times in the morning to set you on the right track, six times in the afternoon to focus you, and nine times in the evening to solidify your manifestation. It’s known as the 3,6,9 technique when you increase the number as the day progresses.

However, if that feels too much for you (I know it is for me!), then script just in the mornings or evenings, building it into your routine. You can even do it once a week, such as on a Sunday, although it is vital to realize that the more you script, the more potent its effects.

How Do You Manifest A Specific Person Using Scripting?

You need to have a clear idea of the person’s physical and personal traits. What gender are they? Do they have dark or long hair. Are they smiley and career-driven? You must be clear on how they make you feel and express gratitude that they’re in your life.

You can ask yourself some questions to help you along.

  • What type of person do I want to manifest? (e.g., lover, friend, work colleague).
  • What personality traits do they have, and what do they look like?
  • How do they make me feel now they are in my life?
  • Why am I grateful to know them?

Jot down the ideal person you want to invite into your life and have a look through your list. Get super clear on the qualities you are looking for so you can focus on finding the type of person you seek.
