Hi, Page Flutter friends, it’s elephant erin! Have you ever forgotten someone’s birthday or forgotten to take off work for an upcoming holiday? Because I have done that multiple times, and enough is enough! Today, I have a great journal spread that you HAVE to try for yourself to stop the forgetfulness.

Grab your supplies because it’s time to get started, here’s what you’ll need:

  • A helix circle maker: I got mine at hobby lobby but they’re sold in most craft/art stores and also on Amazon. You could also grab two smaller sized bowls to trace.
  • A fine tipped black marker or pen: Grab your go-t0 journaling pen. I’m using a Micron 0.3 and a precision pen (0.8).
  • Colored Pencils or Zebra Mildliners: Really, anything to add some color.
  • A list of all important holidays and birthdays: Go through your country’s national holiday as well as Facebook for important birthdays and write them all down.

Step 1: Draw two circles, one being slightly smaller than the other.

Step 2: Divide the space between the circles into 12 sections, one per month of the year. I used the helix circle maker and divided the circle in 30 degree sections.

Step 3: Color in the sections with different colors: We all associate colors with different months so use all your favorites.

Step 4: Write in the months any way you would like.

Never forget a birthday or holiday again with these 5 easy steps! Don’t get discouraged if making the wheel doesn’t go perfectly on the first try- I made two before I finally got the hang of it. Besides a perfect Bullet Journal has less personality than one with a few (for me it’s many) mistakes!
